Reveal the "nature of home" with artist Tara Sartorius! This two-part workshop involves creating a 4-tile tessellated air-dry clay piece for wall display, and a short poem to go with it. Session 1: Designing and Making Participants will complete a worksheet which includes a tessellated design for their tiles and instructions for how to formulate their poem. "The Nature of Home" exhibition by Tara Sartorius is currently on view at MMFA. The 20 steel-framed panels reflect individuals’ interpretations of the idea of “the nature of home” on porcelain tiles and in poetry. This workshop is free with the generous support of the Art Bridges Foundation’s Access for All program. Advanced registration is required as space is limited.
